North Corner is a Winnipeg original classic rock band. Three founding members — vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dave Pommer, drummer Paul Pommer and multi-instrumentalist Glen Layton — have been writing and playing together for over twenty years. Bassist and lead guitarist Robbie Mills joined two years ago, completing the lineup and forming one tight, connected unit. Glen and Robbie now seamlessly trade off bass and lead guitar duties.

Dave’s songwriting pulls from life’s struggles and the hope that follows, delivered with a gritty, dad-rock edge. The band’s sound is tight, energetic, and unmistakably their own — forged in Winnipeg's Crescentwood underground and road-tested through Winnipeg bars and street festivals.
